it is a definite PLUS but there is also looks, coloration, fiber quality, size/carcus size Foundations are so very much easier to register tho and to be honest I sort of lucked into the original 6 and last three I was a little more picky on.

My niece just told me in arcata, ca there are a couple of guys who walk their yaks around town on leashes.

That's okay. I guess several generations means 3 or more. So 3 or more gen.s on both sides to be a foundation. Are there buyers out there? Good yak market?
