Granny's gone and done it again

Hey, thanks for dusting off a spot on the roost for me! Turns out I wasn't thinking real clearly when I posted yesterday as I was about to jump on the road to drive down to the farm......spent the night with the family down there, had a great day with them today and left DS there for the week to help them out with some projects that need to get done around the place. Just got home about an hour ago and I am wiped out! Sure makes for a short weekend when you do nothing but run around for at least 1/2 of it. On the upside, DH and I have the house to ourselves all week........not that we'll do anything exciting or even interesting about that.
Anyway - all that to say it's great to be back, off to try to get an idea of the highlights for what I've missed around here......

Seems I did hear that before. Wasn't quite sure that's what I was hearing though cause my wife was pounding on my head with a 2x4 at the time
My dear man, if she was hitting you over the head it was a "clue x 4", not 2x4.....

Not sure I have any . I cant keep a bandaid on it. bad spot I guess.
Granny - how do you not have at least one roll of vet wrap around that place -- that is the keep to keeping pretty much ANY body part bandaged.

that's because many don't have a mute button
Sure they do, you just have to be old enough to have had one installed --- my great-grandpa had it all figured out. Great-grandma would start in about something you'd see him reach up and switch off his hearing aid with this big ol' grin on his face

Ditto. Walk-in coop is a must.
Absolutely! I have always had walk-in coops from the first one my dad and I built together WAAAAAY back when I was like 7. The only exception being this cheesy, cheap little prefab thing I picked up to use as an isolation/brooder/hospital unit and it was HUGE pain in the ass to try to work in, clean, etc.

Omg, my husband changes the channel every 5 minutes! Time for another glass of wine.
Oy, DH does this -- can't stand commercials so he changes the channel "just for commercial filler" but then he doesn't go back in time, so you end up seeing about 1/3 of different programs but not one full episode of any -- especially fun when show 1 and show 2 are on commercial so he drags a third show into the mix

So I got myself some flowers (verbenas) to justify going through the garden checkout at Kmart on Friday. Teehee. Surprised when the girls were ranging a bit this weekend they ignored the planter. Gasp.

Twist, Is Miahi ok ? I aint ever gonna spell that right.

LOL I had issues with the spelling for a long time as well

As far as I have heard Maiah is doing fine

BYC on the other hand not so much no notice of other postings
