Granny's gone and done it again

When I was in the 8 th grade my step dad worked at Kings Bay submarine base in St. Mary's Ga. we lived on the swamp at the north end of the county. I once killed 4 rattlers walking up the driveway to ketch the bus for school. You should have seen the look on my home room teachers face when I threw my book bag into the class room that morning . LOL

don't tell me the snakes were in your bag..they do make pretty purses and boots.that's all a rattler is good for..i've heard they taste like chicken..

Dang lazy rat snake! If it ate rodents like it's named, I'd pay to have some around here, but nah, it's too lazy. Going after the easy stuff... Dang snake!

Imagine what you could have bought with all that money you wasted on coffin nails. Dad always said that was how he afforded vacations, gave up cigarettes right after he got out of the army. Part of their pay back then was in cigarettes!
Coffin nails. 'nuff said.

Don't sell her short; she's just liable to quit smokes on her own, 'cause she knows the possible consequences if she doesn't. I did, & I'm fairly sure I was smoking before she was even born!
:fl

Or, in my case, quit chocolate.
NOoooooo! Not chocolate! That would be the hardest thing in the world for me. I would do it, though... if granny quit smoking, I would quit sugar and chocolate(even harder than just chocolate). Deal? I need to do it for my health anyway and you know how misery loves company... We could be miserable together... granny? Pam?

Oooo, new avatar for Twist!

Then the doctors should be made aware! Is common sense no longer PC in this country?
Was it ever? Seems PC is often anti-common sense or they would just call it that... common sense.

Yup.... I'm in.

she was happy and laughing.i don't understand why they can't fix the other why she is there and not make her come back monday..i told her to be good..said she wanted to slip out and smoke..
They may have a full schedule of emergent and elective cases. To be honest, if she smokes and is not compliant with her diet they are not going to make her top priority. Sorry, but true.
