there maybe also be broken and worn out railroad ties in the burn pit as well

Can you use them as land fill anywhere. They are chock full of chemicals, in think creosote to keep them from rotting. I can't even think of ways to use them. Years ago we used them to make raised beds before we knew better. Maybe someone would want them. Not me for sure.

I don't even to that unless they are filthy BUT removing stems does help to NOT pop anything else in freezer

I am using the good ones for fence posts, and as a retaining wall I hope to get put up this year yet. OH and like a road down by the main coop/grain tanks. And there it only has about 50 feet to going into my "good neighbor's land and creek
