Granny's gone and done it again

It was hard on my great grandma. She had Alzheimer's and get lost. When my uncle took her keys and sold her car she cried every day. I think it contributed to her health decline and eventually her death.

Missed you camp! Glad you got to have time with your friend:)

I need to add you on fb. I keep forgetting!
My Mom was good about the car, and i told her she could call a cab or get rides. I always took her everywhere anyways. But i understand how people would miss the freedom. Sadly, it sometimes takes a bad accident for them to see the logic.

I was up at MILs all day. She's not well. Has trouble staying awake, trouble talking, walking, swallowing... We think the end is near, but we thought that a month ago! Thanks for asking. :hugs

Book Thief was good. I liked The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke better. Anything by Cornelia Funke is worth reading. Peter and the Starcatchers is the first in a series by Dave Barry... really good stories meant to be a prequel for the Peter Pan stories.

You need fries with that!

Oh no, no on no, not me. It was concerning though, because granny told us she was pretty sure she'd just had a minor heart attack, and then disappeared to take a nap without telling us. Who wouldn't be worried?

Sorry about your hen, Red. :( Birds eating other birds always seems kind of cannibalistic to me, gives me the creeps. I have been hearing the hawk the last couple of days, so the seramas have been kept locked up, much to their displeasure. They got a bunch of chopped kale this morning, so were slightly less cranky.

Oh Red, i am so sorry! Had my favorite polish pullet taken that way, the bird snatched her up and all i could do was watch as she struggled in those talons. Never found even a feather from her. So sorry you lost a bird!:hugs
So sorry wishing. I wish that there was something that I could do to help yall through this. :hugs

Hey y'all. :frow I had my friend from England visiting the 29th through the 5th. I slept all day yesterday because we stayed so busy! I'm roughly 3k posts behind so here I go to catch up. :D
Missed you camping. :hugs

I don't need to see hourly pics of my friends life online.
Too much info out there, imo.

BYC wastes enough of my time as it is.
So many young women just posting selfies all day. But i go on there to keep up with my ex- neighbor in TN. And there are some good groups on there if you are looking for animals.

I know. It's sad, they get use to something and think nothing of it. It's their normal.
My GG was really independent. She would go pick up her friend that didn't drive and they'd go places. When she lost her car, she felt helpless.

I started on Myspace and moved to FB when it first started years ago.
It got "Old"..I have enough crazies to keep up with on here.
And the people in m "real" life I see and or speak too enough to know what is going on in their real life too.
I'm just not a fan of hourly updates, expect when they are about Granny!
