Granny's gone and done it again

Do you have them in a hardware cloth bottom cage? Makes life much easier.

No, I tried it when I had meat chickens and didn't care for it. Too many foot problems. I use deep litter in the coops and runs. When I clean the coops I just shove the bedding into the run for them. They think it's the best thing ever! I don't clean it like that often. Every few months:oops: but I do try to flip the coop bedding once a week.

Didn't set an alarm so I'm still in bed. I think I told a couple folks, but I now have THE LICE. :hit I actually picked one out of my hair while driving home from the airport Saturday. That's not a fun discovery at 80 mph. So it's a good thing that I didn't have a sleepover with Kiki. :(

Still having trouble with snakes. Killed two in the coop day before yesterday, one with a belly full of chicks and one with a belly full of eggs. Only four babies left, but one is the little feather-shanked chipmunk that hatched with the wonky legs. It grew out of it and is now totally normal.
