Granny's gone and done it again

Excited to think about getting goats! Of course, i will have to build the shed and get the fences up. Maybe goats for Christmas! I have never had Nigerians before.
A word of advice put the post outside the fence, goats lay allover it and climb on it. The will push they wire away from the post if you don't ! Learned it the hard way

My wife wants to learn to can , I told her you can learn anything on YouTube lol
You can buy a canning book too. Explains the methods & which foods have to be canned what way. My dd's never wanted anything to do with canning. Oldest dd called this afternoon a said she wanted me to teach her how to can. About fell over dead lol.

Once i get a real productive garden, i will learn to can. Dad used to do it, he learned from Grandma. The sink would be full of hot water and tomatoes. I still remember the pressure cooker jiggling. We used to pick high bush blue berries near Grandmas house. So good! They would probably grow well here. Going to plant some fruit trees too!

Yeah, we fenced 10 acres in TN. Had 100 goats. Been there, seen that. But thanks, it might help someone. I am going to use panels near the barn where the feeders will be. They always beat hell out of fences near feeders.
