Granny's gone and done it again

Papa, Cap, @mlm Mike, and other goat people: here's pics of Beaux. I wormed them both Wednesday with Dumor pellets. I thought maybe it was lack of forage but seems like they would've both dropped weight? His eyelids are pink. They've got lots of hay now and I picked up feed, too, to help him get some weight back.

I guess he's always been lean? Here they are in April.

And then in May when I moved them to the back yard.

How's his poo? If your chicks had coccidia then the goats could as well and not show much signs other than weight loss. When I had Pygmy goats it hit one goat at a time. I was treating everyone.

I haven't seen any weird lately. It was soft after I moved them over but it formed back up, figured it was from all the new green stuff.

I always used cow dewormer at twice the dose for cattle. I forget the name of the product, but it was purple. Give him lots of forage , especially leaves. Acorns have a mild natural dewormer in them. Also lots of good quality square bales of hay. He will fatten up. Those Boers are notorious for being susceptible to worms.

Camp, never had goats and dont know a thing about them but they sell meds for pink eye.
She is talking about the color under the lids and the gums. If it is pale, shows a heavy worm load. If white, death is nearby.
