Granny's gone and done it again

Papa, Cap, @mlm Mike, and other goat people: here's pics of Beaux. I wormed them both Wednesday with Dumor pellets. I thought maybe it was lack of forage but seems like they would've both dropped weight? His eyelids are pink. They've got lots of hay now and I picked up feed, too, to help him get some weight back.

I guess he's always been lean? Here they are in April.

And then in May when I moved them to the back yard.

Any chance to get a fecal done? Since the eyelid is pink, I'd want to know exactly what needs treating. I believe lice or mites can also make them anemic. Have you taken temp? Ivermectin (shot) would take care of most worms and lice/mites. If it's cocci the treatment would differ, corrid 5 days, thiamin shot days 1,3,5.

Thanks Mike! Yes, I can get a fecal done.

Is the goat acting ok, up eating and normal goat stuff?

Wednesday he was acting weak, he was walking around but like really focusing on his steps. He was also limping on a front hoof. I looked but didn't really see anything wrong? I quickly gave the wormer then left town for two days. Got back late Friday just in time for the rain bands to start hitting us.

I dropped lots of hay on the porch so they could eat and bed and stay dry, but he seemed a bit more like himself today. I still need to go back to the hooves.

So maybe the wormer you gave helped. I would do the fecal, and then treat as advised.
