Granny's gone and done it again

I been on bipap for 7 years NO WAY would I go back to those headaches, nothing short of being knocked out helped all because I stopped breathing when I slept. That's what blame all my orneriness on lack of oxygen to the brain all them years
My dad was on bipap when he was alive. Mine is a C-Pap, but I haven't had another sleep study done & it's been 12 years & many pounds ago.

I had to use my machine or I am really bad tired. It has been hard this summer with the heat.. I have the full mask also. I bought a fan to run on my face while i sleep or if I just cant get to sleep i take it off and wake up at midnight and put it on. I agree it is hard to get used to but if can it will make a difference . Oh and I had to get a humidifier for mine. that helped alot also.
Ok H2o ~ spill why all the cases of wipes lol

Me too, grumpy umpess. Used to do so good on little sleep, not no more. Doesn't help the broken sleep I get is messed up because of my untreated Sleep apnea. I just cannot tolerate a mask on my face, even tried the nose pillows with no luck. I would wake up with either my face or nostrils being in pain or to the apnea mask on the floor. Finally after a year I just gave up.
I quit using mine for about a year, i got a foggy brain from it. Now i put it on and concentrate on breathing, in, out, in out. I am asleep in no time and i feel more energy when i use it.

Maybe that's why I have chemo brain without having chemo haha. Hubby hated sleeping with me when I wore mine. My sleep study showed I slept on all sides throughout the night. Not only did I feel like I was strangling myself with the hose but the exhausting air on hubby wasn't pleasant for him. The only time that I successfully wore it for months was when me & the macHine moved to the spare bedroom.
