We have two churches we like, both 45 mins away and both start at 11. But only one has children's church during the main service. My kids do alright, but sometimes they have questions about something in the service. And sometimes bubba just can't sit still. I have to pick my battles: he can lay on the floor or wander along the wall as long as he's quiet. My fav was at dad's church: bubba army-crawled under the first pew (I was second from front) and laid on the first pew and dozed off. Same service, he had climbed up on the arm of the pew and jumped off like a paratrooper. The folks behind me got a big kick out of that.

Dad says kids wandering around and talking don't bother him as much as folks cleaning their nails or balancing the checkbook.
