Dangit! Granny was on when I got here and posted, when I sent her a pm, and when I answered camping's post. Now she's gone. That has been happening more often than not lately.

Oh yes! The Pintos are super cute. How much older are the big ones? They seem monstrous by comparison. Do keets grow faster than chickens?

Maybe. But her last post was almost half an hour ago, so she probably gave and went to bed. Going on 1 am for her. You too? Why are you up so late? Can't see what's causing your itchy head because of pink eye?

I think they all grow faster than we realize. Maybe 2 weeks older? They have bitty wings and tails.

I have trouble finding my bed when DH isn't home. And tonight the dogs keep growling at the door. I could hear engine noise but pretty sure it was a helicopter. I was trying to do laundry but now I'm too sleepy to switch it.

I had the keets on top of as shelf in the bathroom, about 5ft up. They were all sprawled around like lawn darts. I was worried they would overheat, so I moved them down to the toilet tank. After a bit I could hear crying and they were in a big clump when I checked. So back on the shelf.

I do the same thing. Haven't had a decent night's sleep in a month. First hubs was up caring for his mom for 3 weeks straight. After she passed, he took our youngest on a trip for a week. I got in the habit of waking up and wandering around the house while he was gone, and the habit lives on. My ears are ringing, I have dark circles under my eyes, and I can't remember why I walked into the room. The terrible heat has made it worse with the house open wide and the fans running. Zombie me!
