Trust me they panic. They are just good at hiding it.

Never panicked yet. You just have to get a plan and follow it. Do what you can. Even when patients who code don't make me panic. If you panic, you don't think and can't be helpful.

No they really don't but they see it all day everyday , and panic helps no one . Especially the patient. The first time I worked with ED staff I thought they was the most uncaring bunch in the world . But they can't afford to panic , it waste precious time that some patients can't afford.

I had times I panicked but the adrenaline helped. It was usually times when the vet was on lunch and we were short staffed. And emergencies hit in at once.

I couldn't work on humans in a hospital setting. Animals are easier but it's worse. People just don't care and animals hide symptoms.

I can't even nicely tell you all I've seen.
