Granny's gone and done it again

Camping, I wish I had some of your blue eggs to incubate.
Wish I had some from my own. They are molting & haven't layed for a month :hit our egg people get spoiled with a colorful batch of eggs in each carton up until the CCL stopped laying. They are missing them.

Hi, how is everyone in grannyland? Being lazy today, continued doing laundry, washed bedding since kiddos were out & some were sick. Haven't even stepped outside today. Thermometer says it's 95° out. Luckily I filled all feeders & waterers last evening. Will check them this evening when the sun goes down a bit. I'm not a heat person, not certain how you all do it that live in a warm state, I would melt.

Someone here is laying a large green egg. Must be one of my EE/orp pullets. I have the Swedish blue that lays small green. I thought she was laying a bigger but no. There was one of each today.

I got three EE from mcmurrays in my layer pack. They have been the best. Large blue eggs , one layer more of a greenish. But huge eggs. Prob bigger than the orps and the orps are a much larger bird. I sold two to a lady that was paying me 20 dollars a hen. They are older. The first chickens I bought. Coming up on their second year. Really like their coloring. Partridge with muffs and beards. I would like to get more of those.
