Hello Granny land folks! You guys have been yacking up a storm! I had a good day, got some work done. I was going to take a picture of my new garden flag but it was mostly horizontal all day from these freaking winds!
The two guys did manage to show up today, but arrived late and left early. They did build more on the dutch door.

Maybe you need 2 women to build stuff lol maybe suggest that to the contractor, maybe get them to work faster.

I have 3 boxes of broth, will that be enough ? 3 bags of seasoned bread crumbs. I bought 3 jars of gravy as well.

I think so. You are going to have potatoes too, aren't you? The turkey will probably have the neck and giblets inside... you can make more broth or doctor up the canned gravy with the giblets chopped fine.

The bags are not super big. I hope I have enough of everything. My turkey is also 18 lbs. A little in his butt the rest in a throw away pan ?

That will work. I quit putting stuffing in the bird years ago. I think they cook better without it and the meat stays moister.

My house is full of fruit flies. couldnt find any fly strips. Bought the traps for them. Hope they are gone come Thanksgiving

That's strange... hubs just asked me this morning if I had been seeing fruit flies around. No.

I feel like I let myself down by selling those. I intended to keep one of each of theres and that guy offered $45. ? for my SH and I took it. I sold my friends out. I am very mad at myself over it and I miss them a lot still.

Granny, you do what you have to do. Taking in your grandkids is way more important than some silly chickens. Chickens can be replaced.
