every day I get a tiny thing done in my painted room. I almost have everything out of there and time to actually decide what the heck I am doing with that room. So far, Tom and I both like sitting in front of the windows watching for wildlife.

I've finally got my 8 LF hens & birchen roo in 1 pen. GS killed my bo roo. I had told him not to. Rest of the LF need to be culled

Why not, it is not that difficult? She could pay for her feed.

You're supposed to be NPIP (varies state to state) to be able to get an import permit to ship. Lots don't, but you could be setting yourself up for trouble if you got busted.

All 50 states (well 48) require ALL eggs and chicks and birds to come from a tested PT negative flock in order to be shipped.
Most state require even the PT test in order to legally sell any type of poultry even with in its own state....such as swaps or through Craigslist/FB even.

Not necessarily from a NPIP flock but for sure a PT tested flock.


Speeding is against the law...how many people do it on a daily basis?

Shipping something that is illegal is a little bit more troublesome as far as punishment goes than a speeding ticket.

I’m sure you could still sell even with hatchery birds. Only 2 of my silkies are Breeder quality, 1 pullet and 1 cockerel. The rest are from hatchery. I’m planning some major buying in the spring from different breeders and keeping a few offspring from mine.

I went out and he ran. I was gonna try the broomstick method out.
