Gingerbread  
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
2 c. sifted flour
1/4th tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
2tsp baking powder
1/2 c milk
4TBS cinnamon
cream shortening and sugar , add egg and molasses beat well
add sifted dry ingredients alternating with milk
bake at 350
