Granny's gone and done it again

slight uphill hardly noticeable and yes from faucet to coop. It Might be 125 I am going by what I believe my hose to be. It reaches just to the coop .
Ok, so my idea is to try to make it easy to drain the hose... be able to drain it without having to pull it or roll it up. If you could hang it over a rafter or over something high up, tie it up there with a long enough piece hanging over into the coop to get to the waterers. Then when you are done and turn the faucet off, all you would need to do (ideally) is unscrew the hose from the faucet and let the water drain out onto the ground. Reattach it after it drains, before it freezes. Any chance that would work? I don't know your set up. Maybe attach the hose along a fence or something to keep a level downward slope.

So it is simple, after you fill your waterers, unhook the hose from the faucet and it should drain out. I did that most of the time in TN unless it was really cold and i wanted to give them hot water.
It is a wonder you don't have an electric wheel chair with snow chains on the wheels you could use.:gig
