I would love to cook with you Jane. I bet your GD is better at it then I am. Mom never let us in the kitchen when she was cooking. said she didnt want anyone under foot. I know my health prevents me from doing a lot but there is more I could be doing then I am. I just cant get it. I dont really understand how people spend hrs in there for something that is gone in 10 min and all you end up with is a sink full of dirty dishes.

supposed to snow all day . they just scraped the road . I am not sure how I will get the barn door open. It dont have a zipper !

Here’s y’all a laugh for the day.

Bathing the dogs today and since it’s winter I’m leaving the coats long but decided to shave their bums. The dogs have their own set of clippers with a dog on the actual device. I get it out of the box and notice red hair.....my dogs don’t have red hair and I clean the clippers after each use. MY BROTHER used it to shave his beard! He of course denied it. Then said he probably used it a long time ago. How long, because I had just shaved the dogs in the fall lol

He claims he’s smarter than me but I still know not to use butt clippers on my face

My mom never let us help. What I know I taught myself. When we married we lived on hamburger helper & koolaid. GD is bad underfoot but I sit alot at the table when i'm cutting, stirring & such. We have a lot of good times in there.

Some folks like to cook. They enjoy bringing the ingredients together to create a dish their family will enjoy. I like making something that will last several meals so hubby can get a rest from cooking every meal.
