Granny's gone and done it again

Sweetest ones I've had so far are ee, bantam brahma, and silkies. The silkies are a little off though. I think that's why I like them so much. We have a lot in common. My silkie roo tries to mate his own shadow against the underpening . Poor thing. he even tries to call it over to eat with him.

I still have the bantam cochins and two giant cochins, but my layers are all leghorns or leghorn mixes, and they are W. I. L. D. so I need some that are pettable. And I miss my colored eggs. Hopefully her EEs/OEs are nice like mine were.

That's too funny Red, I've got a little EE mix that is doing the same darn thing. She even ties the nest box up all afternoon & will finally squack the egg song but there won't be another egg in the box.
lol Mine does that too sometimes. She'll start singing and sometimes run up wnting me to pick her up. She really thinks she's fooling me or she thinks that a gigantic double yoker came outta her lol.

I've only ever had 2 leghorns. Bobcat got the first one & the 2nd one is so tame. She will even follow me in the coop & while I'm cleaning the poop board she gets up on the roost bar so I can pet her.
