Yes they recommend you do, either by tilting the end of the egg carton, changing ends every 4 hrs or using a turner. I chose the turner because it was set & forget.

Haha well I collected for 7-10 days without turning. Got good hatches. Maybe 1-2 out of a full bator didn’t hatch. And they were early blood rings.

If you hold them in a cool area, not cold & run a humidifier if you have one. My gd bedroom was great for this. I had two turners running until I got as many as I wanted. I think I went up to 14 days with decent results.

it’s very wet in the basement. I don’t add water to the bator until lockdown because it’s so bad lol I’ll try the turner though.

It keeps the yoke centered in the egg so when it is incubated the embryo doesn't end up being to one side of the egg.
