Granny's gone and done it again

Wishing, DH still struggles a bit because he does not have self control. I can get a bag of m&ms and enjoy a few at a time for several days. He can’t delay them for an hour. He’s working on it, but this is why I hide the leftover snacks from girls night. :hide

He has ADD and when his meds wear off he’s just starving, so most of his snack impulses are at night. That’s a big part of his struggle.

I can tell my egg is getting close by the actions of the broody. she is trying to act tough. LOL She is so sweet. I remember when I bought her we traveled a ways . The lady had 2. We get there and I forgot my wallet at home. Soo mad ! Tom had change to buy one for me. $25.00 ! Came home got the wallet and went all the way back for her sister. They were worth the trip. Her sister passed a while back.

Those meds normally take your appetite. We had to beg Robert to eat. You wouldnt believe some of the stuff we did.

DH really has to force himself to eat, but the meds keep him awake. Once they wear off he can’t sleep and he’s starving, usually around 10pm. He has sleeping pills to take but doesn’t like them. So he usually goes to bed at 2-3am and sleeps until 8-9.

Well then, I have more in common with your DH.:p No ADD, but no will power either. Watching diet and blood sugar levels is huge with ADD. Has he looked into GABA? Amino acid suppliment that is supposed to help immensely, but you can't take it with other meds (got to ask the dr first). Lady I know... her son started taking GABA and it changed his life for the better. Thinking about having my older guy try it.
