I nearly fell in the mud near the hoop coop. Why do i insist on wearing sneakers when its wet?! I need to buy some cute boots i will like wearing. Mine are boring black and too tall with no lining so my feet get cold.

I’ve went through 2 pairs of cute chicken boots since last year. I gave in and bought a pair of big black boots. They have great traction and are warm.

Went out to collect eggs. Ditz had kicked a broody off the nest. She was sitting beside the eggs I swear I’m going to kill her.

Yeah my boots slip on. I don't untie the sneakers, just slide my foot in them too. It only takes a bit of mud to cause a fall. I know better!

You should see the quail! I swear they have doubled in size already! Bunnies are almost 5 weeks old now.

fast little growers! My silkie chicks will be 3 weeks Wednesday and they look huge to me. They are already trying to roost. Guess I need to get the little tunnel thing out for them.

that’s what I did yesterday. I emptied the food storage because I thought we’d have snow and it’d be hard to get to them. No snow but I didn’t make it out til late today.
