The only spaniel we ever had was a Brittany. Poor old guy... mom found him wandering behind a 7-11 and we ended up keeping him. Never could decide if Freddie was deaf or dumb. Maybe both.

Brittany's in my experience tend to be to timid/skittish for my taste
