Got the chicks out of the bathroom! Checked keels and the teensiest banties have the best weight! I put the “best” three honas back with the coop babies, leaving two thin honas, a lav. amerecauna, and the runty dominique in with the banties.

One of the white cochins is acting like a cockerel, which is great because I need a banty roo. I also have six banty calico cochins coming this weekend.

So i now have a bunny grave yard. The first one i killed by giving her a tiny taste of pear. I am So senseless sometimes. I need a break.

Why would pear hurt a bunny? I know nothing about bunny's, so just wondering. Sorry

I'm frustrated with my BCM roo, he isn't doing his job. I've got a couple LF broody's that have been sitting for quite some time, but each time I give them a batch of eggs, they end up not being fertile. One of the hens ended up with 1/6 that is fertile so that's what she's sitting on. The other gal I pulled out of the broody cage & put her in the broody breaker cage. She is every shade of peed off, but she's going to get over it. Have had to clean poopy butt the past 2 days on the 2 Serama chicks. Momma is freaking out over the little roo wanting to be close & the other 2 broody's getting off the nest to potty & eat. It must be stressing the littles. Tried to put one of the other broodys in a small dog carrier as she will be on day 19 on Friday, but she freaked out & was going besserk. So I grabbed the 3rd broody & the 2 LG fowl eggs she was sitting on & threw her in the empty broody cage. Last I checked she was freaking out, but what she is sitting on is probably not fertile anyways. About ready to strangle me some broody's, I wasn't wanting any chicks this Spring to begin with

Trim his feathers? Trim the hens’ feathers? Is he the only roo? The breeder was telling me yesterday that in her Sussex pen she had two roos and when one mounted, the other would knock him off so she wasn’t getting any chicks.

Im home honey ! Dr is pleased with Roberts progress. I forgot to check out and get next appt. 2 phone calls when I got home. No meds today and mortgage co. Surely they got their payment by now ? I tried calling mortgage co back . I gave them last 4 of my SS # then they wanted my zip and I forgot and got mad and hung up.

I just spent one hour trying to get my new printer set up.
I hate it already. It’s a stupid printer. No place to put a flash drive in to scan directly to the flash drive. What is wrong with these companies. I knew I should have bought it at Costco so I could take it back.
