It’s been less than 3 hrs since I got home and I’ve been working my butt off. I’m going to have to coat myself in muscle cream later lol so I getcha. I’ve never seen one at all, chick or adult.


They look like they’ll be partridge?

I think they look like campines. small to med flighty , small white eggs.

Lot of people asking for silkies. There were a few adults and mostly males. Some wanted $10 and one wanted $20.

I’d pay $20 for a good quality bird. A boy. Girls would get me in trouble because I’d grab em all. I have 3 laying but not sure which 3 or even if fertile.

the comb and look of the chicks is about what they have going for them I think. LOL Lisa had one she said did well there so hopefully they can keep the comb over winter.

cause they remind you of brown leghorns ? The ear color is white.

Update on the OE chicks. 2/5 boys, 1 of the boys has a single comb. I was cleaning the brooders, this is the clean out container.

How come only the boys have green legs? Are the others EE?

I took a nap.
I didnt know RIRs are mean. This one dont seem to be but its young still. about half grown and maybe heritage. I fell for the color.
I did come home on the + side of cash even after Mcdonalds but not by much. LOL

Not the heritage, they are good. The dark color is the key. RIRs aren't supposed to be red, they are mahogany. Beautiful!

I hope these white polish I got today look like the one I had before. She was very pretty.
