sounds like its all or nothing. side effects are constipation, aint that what you need ? sugar in the water, electrolites whatever you think will help and not hurt. You can give fluid sub Q if dehydration is a problem

That's what I read... pull everything except electrolytes, but I can't remember the age of the animal they were talking about. Maybe try the drench? Molasses, kayro syrup... some other stuff. I can try to look if you want.

Normal temp is 102° -103°. If you set up a heat lamp and he is cold he will lay under it. He needs all his energy to fight this.
