I would probably crack off a little corner of one of the quarter pieces of the tablet and shove it down the boy's throat.

Or crush it to powder, mix with applesauce & syringe in. The crushed powder would get into his system faster then the tablet form. Just no easy answer

I cannot pay emergency vets fees anymore than you could. I’ve already put too much money into a $40 goat.

I have not offered anything because literally every source says hay and water.

I gave him the albon.

Our low tonight is mid60s and I can’t run electric to the coop tonight, but I can bring him in the bathroom with the heat lamp.

Camp, you do what you need to do. You have worried yourself sick with this little one & in the real world you can only do so much. You've given him meds & other than bringing him in to the bathroom tonight for added warmth he's in God's hands. No one is going to point the finger at you & say you didn't do enough, because you have done all you can do for him. friend, stop beating yourself up. Some things are not meant to be. I will continue to say prays for you all. Hoping for a miracle!

Only 1 day a week you could be off and that was Thursday then you had to work Saturday.

Most people say to pull grain and milk while fighting scours. Neighbor is pushing milk and grain. I think they were already half starved before I got them.

That’s because if you pull stuff then nothing can come out lol

Camping, I think you are doing everything right. He could have come down with this simply from the stress of the auction and weaning and all.
University of NC put this out, so I think the vet is going in the right direction, at least it is common practice.
They don't say much about supportive care. Seems they are just relying on the medication.
