So sorry about Enola and the calf. I wonder if she had some problem with the pregnancy that killed them both.
ditto or after affects from the birth, if it was her's would have been her third so there should NOT have been any problems

Are the staff not checking on them? That just seems wrong to not notice. Especially when they have young they need to be checked all the time!with the wonky weather and what not all I know is less then a week, Enola had some maggots, Calf was pretty much just skin and bones.
Well, don't you have people there feeding and watering and checking on them? I would be mad.
It is trivial by comparison, but first the lavender keet died, and i just went upstairs a few minutes ago and there was a keet on its back and it felt coolish. Pretty feeble looking so i put it in the bator. Sigh.

You were just there yesterday and if it was Csheilas calf she wouldnt have it next to her. Is there one with her ?
But you know Enola calved right ?nope was out on Tuesday BUT I can NOT honestly remember if I saw Enola or not and the girls usually hide when they are calving/giving birth. Everyone is in the 30 acre plus pasture.
To the best of anyone's knowledge Sheila has NOT calved but then we don't know if she's preggers either.
