We had an exercise class here, a guinea got loose and we were running around with nets.

Hahaha That has happened every swap I have been to. I bring my net. Something went inside TSC. I dont remember what it was but funny . CB caught it

I have never seen so many flies as what is in my house. I heard everyone talking about them but hadnt seen any at that point. I was going to get fly strips, forgot. We are taking turns killing them. I think they are showing off for company.

Hi Neatstuff! Yes, we are going to have some fun. When I pulled into the driveway the first day, I saw granny out there walking around in the yard and I ran over and got a huge hug and maybe even made her cry a little.. because I was crying. But happy tears!
Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope you are well. Anything new?

Hi Wishing! And Granny! I think I would cry happy tears too, if someone flew all the way across the country just to see me. It sounds like you two are having a blast! Wishing, one of the first things I thought of when I saw that you were going to Indiana was that you are going to hate your hair there, lol. Your hair looks just like my cousin’s and I've always thought her’s is beautiful! When I was in CA or CO, was the only times I’ve ever loved my hair. Low humidity! That’s why I straighten mine and it’s a PITA! Lol.
I’m doing good lately. Trying something different with my meds, so no jitters about posting here..when I’m not doing other things I normally shy away from. It’s been miserably hot and dry here, so just trying to keep things alive. Plants AND animals. It finally rained a whole two inches in the last two days, so now all of a sudden I actually need to mow. I hope everyone has a great day!
Oh, and you two are cracking me up posting back and forth to each other in the same house! I love it! Later!

Glad to hear you got some rain. Granny had been waiting on some too, and it came with a vengeance yesterday... and tornado warnings!! The sirens went off!!!
I am actually staying closer in to town. Granny offered me her bedroom, but I am here for 10 days and that is too long a time to give up your room... she'd be sick of me by the end of the week! Plus, I am at least 75% hermit, don't travel well or sleep well, so having a cave of my own to hide in at night is a good thing.

As for the hair, ugh. Sometimes I think about cutting it, but then what? I don't think an afro style would suit me. I look around at women with my hair type and they all wear it longish and pull it back... no sense swimming upstream. When we visit family in Hawaii, it's my Maui hair. It the Midwest, it will be known as tornado hair, which is a much more accurate description.

So, off to head over to Pam's. She's going test out a new electric griddle she found at the thrift store yesterday and COOK for me! Such an honor!
