This was very smoky on the way home. Got ash raining on the truck when I was at an intersection and at the time was easily a good...hmm. Mile and a half if not over two miles as the crow flies from the fire. Smoked out the valley too. Hope they got it out quick. View attachment 1482820

Good morning. Got mostly packed up last night so have a few minutes to say howdy. Supposed to be about 80 today with lower humidity than normal. I think I got lucky with the IN weather... wasn't too bad and there's AC just about everywhere you go.
On my way to granny's soon, then to the Cincinnati airport (in Kenkucky!). hubs said he will come gt me from the airport in San Francisco so I don't have to wait around for the 11pm late bus. Told him he didn't need to, since it's at least a 3 hr round trip for him, but I didn't insist.

So i worked until dark. Have not had supper. I was picking eggs and there was only one egg in the SS nest box. 3 layers, so not impossible. Then i go look in the polish nest box one egg. Maybe they decided to lay in the run. Sometimes they do that. I turn on my phone light, and there is another king snake, busy swallowing the last egg! SMH. I am sick of snakes! I work so hard and spend so much money and then along comes a snake and eats my eggs! Not happy. Plus now i have to go dump it off somewhere.
Am in a pissy mood tonight.

Appreciate all the extra effort to save the king snake. They are the good guys!

Me too. I still wish we could have a thread reunion of sorts some day. Red needs to win the lottery and make it happen!

Well went to clinic hubby's results are as follows right lung nodule shows signs of shrinkage,left lung nodules nothing still the same which is good.Hubbys blood levels were extremely low so bags of blood didn't leave IV clinic till 6:15but happy that he's doing betterwhat a long day tomorrow speech therapy

Glad to hear the good news. I bet he felt better after getting some rbcs!
