Crabby, Think the heat got me. Went and got some cash so Robert and worker could run errands including the gas cans and came home to cook eggs rather then brave this heat . Yes, I cooked to keep from pouring sweat. LOL He shows up while I am cooking and says oh I cant take the gas cans, cars a rental. So Now I have to go all the way back to town but it aint gonna be this day. Too hot to mow anyway.
Was mowing yesterday and felt something BIG moving down my leg under my pants and I freaked. I first thought was a frog then I reasoned no way a frog got through my sweat pants with elastic at the bottom so then assumed snake. This all happened in a split second but I jumped off the mower totally scared to death and thats when my lighter fell out the bottom of my pants.

Oh good. News said 16' of water will be released if the dam fails. Seems that could end up being higher down stream in a narrower river. Be careful. Water could come up fast.

Thanks, not sure if the Pigg River goes up that way. I had to message hubby about which channels were news, i never watch it unless he happens to put it on and no newspaper...

those lighters are scary things! Especially paired with coffin nails.

I have been doing lots of F&W chores. I need sportbird feed again! I tried googling the Southern States feed store in town with no result. I know it is there! I guess i will just go as soon as i have lunch. My prescription was hand faxed in because it's a controlled substance. So i have to go to the pharmacy again...

Oh , and i picked beans and peppers. One of the beans had been there so long, it was sprouting a root through the side of the pod!
And i caught one of the male turkeys to take to the swap.

I thought I got shot, so my first instinct was to dive down by my car.. I had just showered after mowing the lawn.. Got dressed and was on my way out.. The whole right side of my face is swollen, it got me right by the outside corner of my right eye, just below the end of my eye brow.. It was a good size wasp, the front of the body was a dark reddish and the back half black.. I found their nest (hive?), right underside of the top of my garage door.. Tho I had Eliminator wasp & hornet killer, I grabbed my shotgun first, I would of made a mess of my garage door, but I was mad enough; so I took the spray can and empty the whole thing all over the place.. I’ll be looking out for the lit fckrs, I’ll make sure they don’t come back.. From this day on I’m declaring war on all wasps, hornets and bees..

I picked up a dead one, here it is..

Anyone recognize it??
