I was just looking up for cows... says twins can be born days or even a week apart.it IS twins, evidently she is crowning. Dilated 8 to 10 cm according to Robert who is a retired EMT , BUT Sheila will stop contractions and let the new one nurse.
Not sure if the "inside" calf is alive or not.
One day doesn't seem so bad. Hope you get two girls.
Oh yeah? Trust me, she's giving birth. It distressing!Sheila is NOT in distress in any form.

As long as it's been nursing, especially the first milk with the colustrum, it should be good. I think it's very cute with that short nose. (Probably a male then!)Other calf was last night. Robert thinks everything "looks" fine from human standards and he had delivery human babies.
