I went in the coop and my candy corn I have had for a long time kept bumping me and pecking me. Never had a thing to do w/ me before. I picked her up. Blind as a bat.
I put her in a brooder for now and she drank and ate forever. Looks like cataracts

Poor candy corn.

OMG I went to go bring my dogs in and I went lay down on the couch and there is a dead baby possum. I screamed and told my husband to get out here. He wouldn’t kill it. He likes possums. It will probably come back and kill my chickens.

Um, how would he kill a baby possum that is already dead??

ETA - oh, read further. Not dead, playing dead.

That aside, I'd be real unhappy to find a possum of any sort in my house.

Well he was supposed to be scraping my teeth, but that makes my gums bleed. I have had bleeding gums since i was a kid. I have been eating frozen treats and soup all day. :

Time to find a new hygienist/dentist. Or they need new glasses if they can't tell tooth from gum.

It looked dead. Rolled over on his back, mouth open teeth sticking out.
