Granny's gone and done it again

I got the landing platform/ wind baffle started tonight for the Polish coop. It gives them room to come in the pop door, then they turn right and go down the ladder i need to build. It will block wind from blowing straight in when it is cold. Oh, and i built the divider for the CA quail pen tonight as well. Needs painting and wire tacked on. That project was on the back burner while i built all the carrying cages.
They may not be able to figure that out. Talk about inbreeding. I had no luck with mine. The frizzles could not keep their feathers.

I have so many things to fix, like latches where they shift from wood swelling, or wood split so hinges start getting loose etc.
And i want to get everything cleaned up before winter hits. Plus i still have plants to put in.
Not to mention a lot of the cages need to be winterized...

So many people have no idea you can't breed 2 frizzles together or you end up with Frazzles... brittle feathers. The lady i got the pair from pointed out a couple of stripped feathers on the hen. Said her feathers are brittle, but i think she is gorgeous! I wonder if fish oil would help. I used to buy fish oil in Canada for my dogs in 5 gallon buckets. I also bottled it and sold it in our pet stores.
