Granny's gone and done it again

howdy.
got to mass on time,

Hauled the mattress from rm 11 out to the burn pit at the farm.

Got tired of waiting my the straw delivery so grabbed the one bale I had left and got it spread out in the lean to where the ducks and calves will spend the winter .

Caught the surviving ducks from the annex except for the one hen determined to hatch a family and currently on eggs and the 3 drakes (destined for freezer camp) Ended up hauling 7 hens and 7 lings (surviors out of 30 plus littles) They all joined the 2 "keeper drakes" 6 hens and the 2 lings that survived up there. I know the 3 oldest lings are hens BUT looks like 2 or 3 drakes out of the other 6.

Found a spare storm door screen and hauled that back with all the eggs from the farm got home put a new screen in the frame and then got it in the storm door. Washed sorted eggs, and had to run to Menard's for spray paint for the end caps of the radiators.

ON the drive to Menard's and then walking into and out of the store I managed experienced, sun, rain, hail, sleet and snow all in under 25 minutes.

Checked in a reservation and hugged a portable heat and feel asleep once I warmed up.

infection in the scull is some serious stuff. Im glad he is some better.
Poor lings, any idea why ?
You had a busy day !

random hawks, and owl for god's sake and we think a golden eagle, NOT a feather to be found. Also Arse took care of any dumb enough to go thru the fence.

Thinking there will be a "new winged preditor" policy soon.
