Well, I got a gift I wasnt expecting. An ATOMIC lighter. Kinda cool charges by the computer. push button. weather proof.

More like I’m tempted to snap the laptop in half. Then throw it through a wall. I hate that thing. I just wanted to print off 1 thing!

I feel your pain, Alley. Computers just don't like me and I return the sentiment!

Soo.. First or 2nd time Robert has bought me a gift. First that I didnt know about and he put a lot of thought into it. Never need to buy another lighter . Never needs fuel, nada. And,... I hate it. I am really pleased w/ him and he is pleased w/ himself I guess. Sigh.. Do I wait a month and "lose it"?

You better keep that! And it's a good thing if you have to work a little harder to suck poison.
(But keep a bic handy in case the power goes out.)

Its heavy for one thing and its a 3 step process to get a smoke lit. Its like an electric ark that sets paper on fire when its touched and my smokes go out a lot so kinda pita and kinda because I been using bic for so many years

Hi Cap! It's so nice to get pretty Christmas cards, isn't it? I'm glad we started the tradition here. I have mine standing up all across the mantle. Don't need to do any other decorating, they are so cute.
Is it Christmas yet for you? Hubs and I were talking tonight that it doesn't seem like Christmas, and I think it's because we don't have to travel anywhere since MIL passed. It's actually been pretty relaxing, but there's still that something missing. Guess we need to fill that gap with some new traditions.

We always wait until Christmas day. I am going through a bad stretch of IBS, neck and back pain plus an ear infection. Feeling pretty miserable.
Hubby made Pina coladas tonight and we had a cheese log and crackers. I just finished wrapping presents. Kind of sad i won't be seeing the grand kids until late January. But it was my choice so i have to live with it.

Hubby made Pina coladas tonight and we had a cheese log and crackers. I just finished wrapping presents. Kind of sad i won't be seeing the grand kids until late January. But it was my choice so i have to live with it.

Sure hope you get to feeling better soon. Pain makes a terrible companion. I'm glad you will get to see your grandkids, even if you have to wait a bit. Lucky you have them! A am not holding my breath for any.
Pina coladas, huh? I bought some margarita mix today to go with the bottle of tequila I got last year! We'll see how many years it takes to finish it! Maybe it will help me sleep! Tomorrow is the big day.
