Mine just roost in it at night and lay during the day. I have big runs for them.

I am not going to clean these eggs. There are 21 and the breeder is already incubating 36 for me. I’ll be happy with 12 ducks. So, this is just for funsies.

Yes, I need vent holes. And maybe a second lamp, because highest temp has been 100. Or maybe I’ll take the glass out and put the lamp farther in. I’ll decide that tomorrow.

These three in there are in there full time cause they need to learn where to lay and where to roost at night. Once they manage that they get to access the yard

Is this going to be on concrete? If not the bottom will sink and it’s a PITA to get the door open. Which is my current struggle after all the rain and snow.
I’m going to get treated wood in the spring to brace the bottom aft I dig it up.

I have a trio in one and not sure I could get more than maybe 1 more in there.

I had 4 or 5 at one point when they were younger. But they free ranged all day and only slept in the coop.

Beautiful girl! We had a small Dane, natural ears, that showed up on the farm one day. We found out her story and it was horrible, but she was an awesome dog. Ask me about Elsa later if you want the story.

Yaks love love love it all out frisking around silly animals. seeing/watch Porter glaumping around like a calf is just funny as can be.

Bruce can you post a pic of your exchequer leghorn? I may have included one in my chick order without 100% knowing what they look like all grown up haha. Morning all. Not sure what to do with sickie red today. Was going to leave her with peach in the dog run but I get home after dark so...hmm.

Pro, why can't you leave Red with the main flock? Are they picking on her? I left my internal layer with the mob for as long as possible. I even lifted her on and off the roost! She seemed happier being with them.

Granny, glad you got out today. And glad you said you were going out, otherwise I'd think your power was out again. Hope you buy yourself something nice with the money Tom gave you... and make a big deal over it. It will make him happy to see you happy, and even better if he is the source.
