Granny's gone and done it again

I sort of thought so too, but I haven’t done anything. Maybe the pine shavings are helping keep fleas down? The rescue coordinator was concerned the flea meds would burn him, so I haven’t done that either. I haven’t put anything in his skin because I was afraid it would make it harder for him to keep warm.
original dawn works for fleas. That’s what I used on kittens. But that’s if you want to give him a bath. An oatmeal bath would probably help too.
I agree no chemicals on his poor skin.

He does look a bit better. 5 days! Seems longer.

It’s too cold outside and I don’t want to bring him in with the mange, since I’m not sure what type it is. I’ve been changing clothes and scrubbing down, but I’ve also accepted that my dogs may still get it, and we’ll just treat it. No big deal. He’s so itchy that if I pat his chest, his back leg starts scratching.

What about a Benadryl? I picked some up but didn’t give him any. I was worried if he was groggy he would be more afraid, but with the weather today I won’t be out there much and he can just sleep it off.

That’d be fine. It’ll help with the itching.

It looks like some birds have more resilience to it than others (geese for one) and it just slams the chickens.

I’m glad my little sickie red has shown no respiratory issues.

Chicken pot pie for lunch today. Marie callender stule

When bubba’s eczema flairs up and I put lotion on him, it burns and he cries. So I guess I’m overly cautious. I could do coconut oil.
Most lotions have alcohol in them. Dog looks better. I would give it some benadryl too.
