Thanks Jane, i am thinking of putting a big gym mat there. Last time i fell in that area i was in pain for over a month. Hubby heard me fall and came upstairs to check on me.
My guts still hurt this morning. Going to try a liquid or soft diet for today and see if that helps.

First chick hatched. The one I heard peeping last night.
See how dirty the eggs are? I was pretty bad about not turning them, they were too small for my turner.

I think they were poultry lice. Either way I’ll poof the birds tonight and this weekend the coop will get a hardcore strip down power wash and spray down with permethrin - just to be on the safe side.
