every things done except for baking the chicken Alfredo to melt the cheese . Robert wont even taste the spaghetti . I knew he wouldnt the chicken. Why did he insist it be made tonight ? So he wouldnt have to help me tomorrow .

We had leftover chicken with left over veggies from the corned beef. It was really good. I plan to make some chicken soup

I’m upset over it.
I went to Rural king to get feed. They were out of the flock feed. So I had to get meatbird feed. And they only had 2 40lb bags. And I got 6 chicks..... then I went to Tsc to get another bag and got 6 silkies. My only excuse is they were partridge.

No excuses needed, I get it. Chicken math, not your fault. I only had one silky chick survive, so now I need more!

Half of my original co-op is empty now! Looking forward to cleaning it out and repainting. Going to replace perches and one set of nest boxes.

I need to rebuild my nestboxes. I need to make the kind where the eggs will roll out to safety. Hens are eating most of what they are laying.

Do you give them extra calcium Pert ? I hear they need more protein when they do that but if they get some extra calcium maybe the shells will be too hard for them to crack?

I guess I shouldnt complain about him not planning o eating it. He did after all do a lot of the prep helping me cook.I will just be thankful for that. I have been pretending I dont know how to do a few things and he likes to show me up . IE; I chop the garlic he smashes to get the flavor out. My wrist hurt trying to cut the chicken and he was more then willing but having a real hard time because he wouldnt touch it w/ his hands. He made the spaghetti sauce himself. Way more then he would do even last yr.

I think I bought 2 different kinds of squash? One was yellow round and slick skinned w/ yellow meat. The other had ridges running along the outside and orange . The orange was much sweeter then the yellow.

How did he cut the chicken without touching it? Could he wear gloves next time so he can touch it without touching it?
