Granny's gone and done it again

:rant every things done except for baking the chicken Alfredo to melt the cheese . Robert wont even taste the spaghetti . I knew he wouldnt the chicken. Why did he insist it be made tonight ? So he wouldnt have to help me tomorrow . :he

I need to rebuild my nestboxes. I need to make the kind where the eggs will roll out to safety. Hens are eating most of what they are laying.
That's such a pain. I had scrub jays eating eggs for 3 seasons. The parents taught the babies. :hmm

I guess I shouldnt complain about him not planning o eating it. He did after all do a lot of the prep helping me cook.I will just be thankful for that. I have been pretending I dont know how to do a few things and he likes to show me up . IE; I chop the garlic he smashes to get the flavor out. My wrist hurt trying to cut the chicken and he was more then willing but having a real hard time because he wouldnt touch it w/ his hands. He made the spaghetti sauce himself. Way more then he would do even last yr.
That's fantastic, and he can do much more if he really had to. Baby steps... they really add up!

I think I bought 2 different kinds of squash? One was yellow round and slick skinned w/ yellow meat. The other had ridges running along the outside and orange . The orange was much sweeter then the yellow.
Did you like the spaghetti squash? I am thinking of trying it... not too fond of how sweet most of the winter squash is.
Hubs made sketti! I'm gonna get me some! :p

One thing I did enjoy today was listening to the turkeys. Forgive me for this question but do the hens make that gobble sound ? Im thinking maybe when my one coop is empty maybe a pair of midget white turkeys. I need to find out their temperament first. Maybe just 2 hens if I get to hear them.

Love lantana! So do the birds and bees. :)

Sorry Alley. :( Why are the Cochins so fragile? Are the stompers that much bigger?
I’m not sure. Ive never had this kind of problem before. Not really size difference but I did notice today that a few are becoming aggressive. And 2 or 3 birds have bare bums. Maybe 2 weeks old?

Now that I think of it, all the chicks that I’ve lost had bare bums.
