Cows can get it, but is it from dirty water likes chickens? They’re across camp in a field by themselves.



He didn’t tell me then. Today he said “sir didn’t come to me when I brought them feed. I brought it to him and he stood up to eat.” So he wasn’t feeling good.



I thought they took a couple of days to really bloat like that? I knew they would from seeing roadkill.

I had a chicken not looking good. Couldn’t figure out what was wrong, she died. I took her in for a necropsy.

The calf or the other bull? Ranger seems fine, but I want to get a fecal from him. Lady was too weak to stand this afternoon. I have her the spectogard, probios, and a bottle of re-sorb. Tonight she was running around and ate like she was starving. I gave her re-sorb with a raw egg in it, and then a bottle of bounce back because she was just starving.

She got hunched over and peed and pooped at the same time. Poop was some better, but not great. She stayed hunched a while like she was having cramps. We are for sure taking her fecal in the morning. Ranger will be more difficult because he’s hard to catch.

The chicks poop in the water or run through the water with their poop feet. They get it from the ground, but they can get it in the brooder too.
