Granny's gone and done it again

Camping and Cap :jumpy Congrats on the new chicks!

another surgeon already said he couldnt fix it. It was permanent w/ them anchors.
TTYL Make sure he is insured !
I wasn't thinking about fixing it so much as ending the pain.

No, back in '98 I bought a new riding mower at Sam's Club. They loaded it in my van with a forklift still in the crate. When I got home I backed up to a slope in my yard with the intentions of pulling it off into the yard. So I put my feet against the bumper, bent over and grabbed the crate and gave it a pull. A sharp pain shot through my back that took several days to get over. Since then the pain makes a reappearance ever so often.
Exactly what happened to me! Except I was 18 and it wasn't a mower that got me... Electric typewriter. A really heavy one. :hmm And I was moving and off balance when I tried to grab it.

When your back feels better, look up core strength exercises with a bad back. Having strong stomach muscles can help keep the injured area stable and avoid pain.

Sooo, ya. Just felt like sharing that.[/QUOTE]
That's too bad. Some wise person told me you can't swerve to miss every butterfly or you'll wind up in the ditch. :hugs

LOL True fact. Thanks Wishing. If its between running something over or running my van in the ditch well, you know..
I didnt hear the crunch actually like I did when Tom ran that huge one over in Mi. and was wondering if maybe it survived. It wasnt there on the way home.

I seen a strange, sad almost comical sight on the way home today. A bird had been run over so many times it was just a small black spot on the road. The only reason I knew it used to be a bird is because strangely its feet and legs some how survived all the damage and were sticking straight up from the road. I really want to laugh at this but I am a good person and it was sickening . And funny
Tick crawling on my arm today so I had to check Tom. Sure enough one was just attached to his back. Itching all over now.

I saw a flattened bird and only one wing was moving back and forth in the breeze from the cars. weird and sad
