I'll trade, twist. It was 92, felt like 100* here today. Hope I don't go home tomorrow to find dead tomato plants. I need more patience. I'm here with 10 month & 5 year old gkids.

Had some time in the coop with the girls and Bucky. He kept trying to share his treats with them....such a sweet man. I don’t think buffy’s feathers are going to get better since uh. One of my marans (who is also getting picked on) was going after her feathers. Sigh. Hubs came home and right away it was back down to play with his truck. I should bleach out the brooder - see about doing a trip to get chicks (if they still have em) tomorrow.

I should have gone in to work to reconcile some statements and get ready for the first but screw it. I’ll just do three tens next week...or whatever it takes to get quazi caught up on accounts payable and payroll. (Well. Payroll at least I’m caught up on. AP, however...

It seemed to take forever to get simple stuff done tonight. Had to keep going back to the workshop for tools etc. I cut a hole in the back of the packing crate coop and installed a small window as a pop door.

And I got boards cut to size for the soffits to hold the hardware cloth in place.

Just tired. Rough day. window looks great.
Camping, Bubba is 6 inches taller every pic I see and AEM is looking more mature. They are growing up on us too fast.
There is a home remedy for ICH. I have it and will try in the am.
2 dead littles in the serama coop today . stuck in shell and one more I hatched that was also stuck. I dont know why I did . they will probably all die anyway. Found a dead mouse in there and 2 live ones. I think there are 3 that are alive. I set 3 small waters inside the coop and cleaned the one outside. They had skeeter larva in them.
I went to turn the hose on thinking about what CB said about a snake being over there so I was talking loud saying You have time to run little snake ... When a full grown askedhatted rabbit jumped out right at my feet and I had to hurry inside to wipe .
Mice, rabbits, snakes, dead stuff... More then I wanted to see.
Toms DD called to ask what the dr said . ya, then theres that. 2 days ago I told her that is what was wrong and she got upset w/me. Theres n way I could know that and it could be a kidney stone or anything. It didnt give me much pleasure confirming what I had already said.

I have 3 new California Quail hatched, and one from before is struggling so I left it in with the new ones. The others got moved to a different brooder. They will go outside soon.

So many projects to work on. I need a run for the packing crate coop. The California Quail need their flight cages. The run for half the hoop coop needs to be put up....and so on and so forth.
