Granny, what are you up to today? I have laundry going, but I really need to wash dishes and vacuum.
Here is the flight cage, getting ready to move it up near the barn. Then the top goes on, and tonight the birds can go in.

I am cooking. Its very sad. Attempted meatloaf, canned green beens w/ potatoes in them and Mac& cheese. Since the chickens are gone I find myself piddling around the house and seeing how cluttered it is.

I have been wishing for a housekeeper. Not big on cleaning.

Everyone is doing pretty good. Both my daughter and her husband's vehicles are busted and I'm running the wheels off mine trying to keep them from going under.

I remember going thru that then when mine broke down I never heard a word.

Well this is just a cage for the young birds, made with what I had on hand. I am still planning a big flight cage in the lean-to for the parent birds. The only young ones I plan to keep are the silver ones.

I have a big pot of eggs boiling on the stove. My chickens are laying a lot, despite the heat.
I decided to quit dreading housework and just do some. Got a big pile of pots washed. I need to clean off the table and kitchen island.
The tomatoes are ripening faster than I can eat them. I had cukes and tomatoes for lunch.
