Granny's gone and done it again

No clue. I have no idea why they like it right now.

I left my bathroom window open for a while today and now there’s a lizard in my shower. :barnie Thinking about moving him to the kitchen for the flies. Or the laundry room- he can be nice and warm all winter in there.
But then he will need to eat. Better for him to be cold and semi hibernating until the flies come back... unless you are going to catch bugs for him...
What kind of lizard is it?

A green anole, I suppose.

We have mosquitoes all year long. But if I can catch him I’ll toss him back out when it warms up tomorrow.

They have those in Hawaii. I love the geckos that walk on the ceiling. Love pretty much anything that eats mosquitoes!

Denial is a way of life for a lot of people.

Yes, but better than another fire. Wires went down in about 100 locations, and I'm glad they were not live and starting fires. PG&E says it will be 10 years before the situation is resolved enough that we won't need power outages in dry summer winds. If that proves true, we might end up getting a generator. I just dislike listening to them drone on and on.
The droning is annoying. Lucky me - if we ever had power cut for a while I could just boondock off the motorhome. Not on a well, so would still be able to get water...or just fill the tanks and be good for a while, fridge in there can run off propane, and it’s a propane stove. If we wanted ac, however...we’d have to run a genny. Hashtag spoiled. Cellphones and kindle can be recharged in the truck.

good evening all. I had something but then I forgot it. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow - going in to work early so I can talk to our soops (both our superintendents) about this freaking prevailing wage crap. One of em tried razzing me when I called him about it today asking if we started there today and if he’s spoken to the lead foremen about stuff yet. “YOU HAVENT FIGURED IT OUT YET YOU NEED TO GET ON THAT WE STARTED TODAY!!” Well gee soops the first. I only was told about this last week. I haven’t had much time to look into it myself and hash it out with you guys - you boots on the ground soooo....

then we started joking around about what it would take to get on the prevailing wage ourselves. He offered to sit on a bobcat and I told him I’d drive one of our lumber trucks. (Seriously. Money.)

anyway. Going to be quiet again tomorrow cause early in, going to be a busy day, then errands/home stuff/sleep.

We have little pinkish clear ones. They’re hard to catch! The anoles are easy. There’s a nice little colony of them near the pool.

There is a frog on my outside kitchen windowsill. It lives among the potted plants... and leaves all sorts of poop everywhere. Worse than chickens! (almost)
