The wind is rippin by us right now. Guess hubs didn’t secure the doors on one of the containers and it blew right open this morning! One of our cameras was blown off its perch (the peach cam) so today all we saw was...weeds. At least it wasn’t staring straight at a dog dropping right? Right?

anyway. Still breezy. Wind warnings to continue until tomorrow afternoon. Red flag (fire weather) warning to continue to tomorrow evening.
Had someone from the usda stop by while we were at work to take samples of our citruses for some sort of pest. Yikes. Warning would have been nice I DID NOT SEE ANY BIOSECURITY MEASURES AT ALL. at least the citruses are on the other side of the property from the chickens (and they don’t often go there) and he didn’t even glance at our big ol orange tree up by the dog yard (good girl peach. Couldn’t see if she was watching him since uh. Camera looking at weeds but....)

will be another 40 hour week this week. Yay.
