You mix real mashed potatoes in the raw meat ? Cream of shroom is what I use for gravy too. Its good hu? I dont know how to make homemade gravy. Always comes out as dumplins.

try using WONDRA super fine flour and it should cut down on the lumps. OR mix your flour with some milk /water in a jar and shake the poo out of it until no lumps before adding to your simmering juices.

how about hamburger gravy over mashed taters or noodles. You could even add a little sour cream to the gravy for sort of a beef stroganoff flavor

Never had that either. Only gravy I know how to make is breakfast. So fry the hamburger , make breakfast gravy w/ it ?

I would NOT use bacon grease in hamburger gravy use the burger grease in the same pan as you fried the burger.
