Tom was so grumpy today. He never raises his voice to me but I could tell he was very frustrated and a little confused. . He keeps asking me the same thing over and over like he dont understand why there are 2 surgeons involved. I try to make it as simple as I know how. One is for your foot and one is for the leg. When I told him the surgeon wouldnt see him today he said bad words . threw the paper in his hand down and said he wasnt coming back. Never have I seen anything like that from him.

He made 2 loaves of sour dough bread in the dorm community kitchen last weekend, so I guess he is a little bored. He likes to cook, and that was the first bread for him. Looked beautiful.

That will make him very popular in the dorm!

You could take him into a ladies salon with sinks and ask them to wash his hair.

Doesn't have to be a "ladies salon". The same woman has cut my hair all but 2 times since I moved here over 40 years ago. She's a month younger than me. She does men and women and has a hair washing sink. She does colors and perms, the whole 9 yards.

Well since I am in the middle of a good book think I shall go and read for a bit.

Now 5 pages and Im snoring.

Ah, there is the answer to the times when you can't fall asleep!!!

I can understand Tom's frustration, I'd be all kinds of pissy if I had even 1/4 his problems.
